The Single Mothers Ministry is a ministry of encouragement and uplifting through devotionals, activities and prayer. The Lighthouse Single Mothers Ministry is unique in its kind; our goal is to encourage the moms to keep their focus on Christ and not on man. We don’t dwell on our pasts but rather look to God for guidance and wisdom. We have different activities each month. One month is usually a “family” activity while the next month will be a “Time for Mommy”. The Single Mothers meet every 3rd Saturday of each new month.
The Single Mothers Ministry is also blessed with a Big Brother/Big Sister Ministry. The big brothers and sisters are a true blessing to this ministry because they allow the moms to have that much needed “grown up” time and the big brothers and sisters also assist the moms by simply being there on our “family” outings. We are a little family in a big church. Each single mother, child and widow, is precious in His sight. These are the “Least of these.” Oh how we love them.
